Yeah, Mr. Loo has found his forever home, and will be starting his new adventures on Friday!

Barbet Puppy Update

Seven of the puppies have headed out on their new adventures with their new families. It is sad to see them go, but we are very happy for the puppies! We do have one puppy still with us looking for his forever home. Mr Loire aka Mr Loo's first family had to decline at this time because of a family illness. Seven Week Update

It has been a crazy busy few weeks, eight puppies certainly keeps one very busy!
We are working on housetraining which is going very well, I just wish I was an octopus getting 8 puppies outside at the same time is a challenge!
The puppies went through the Volhard Aptitude testing this week, most tested like I thought they would but a couple surprised me. I think the "big" dogs barking though off a couple of puppies. I will test them again in a few days to see if the results change.
They had their first road trip, a visit to the barn to meet the horses. They really didn't like the car, but no one got sick!

The puppies are 4 weeks old already and still growing like weeds, they are an average of 3 1/2 pounds. They have started to eat "food" and love it. They are spending time in different areas of the house to get them use to differents sights and sounds. The puppies are doing great growing and growing. Most of them have there eyes open now and they are moving around the box.

Barbet Puppy Update

The Barbet puppies are growing like weeks. The theme for this litter we desided to go with "French Water" rivers and lakes in France! The girls are Geneva, Bourget, and Annecy and the boys Rhone, Rhine, Garonne, Seine, and Loire. I will try to get some individual pictures today.

July 2, 2019 Freyja delivered 8 beautiful Barbet puppies. Five boys and three girl, everyone is doing well!

Four of the puppies are off on their new adventures I wish them all the best in their new homes!
The only two left now are my show prospects:
Copper will be heading to Quebec soon.

The puppies have had a very busy few weeks, they went to visit the horses at the barn, they attended Chemistry class at school, they had their vaccines and microchips and last but not least the had a road trip to Halifax to have their hearing tested. Yes they can all hear. They have started crate trainig which is going awesome! Outside potty training is going well too! They are such smart puppies!

I'm sorry for the delay in my updates, the puppies are keeping me hopping they have turned into pooping machines!
The puppies have had a busy couple of weeks, they have had lots of outside adventures and have started outside potty training. I have started taking them on car rides and meeting new peole and places.
Four Week Update

The puppies are very busy! They love to play with each other and are starting to play with people too! They are responding to voices and run over to get cuddles. Started them on puppy mush and they are starting to figure out how to get more in their mouths and on their feet!

Three Week Update

The puppies are three weeks old and starting to explore the world around them. They are trying to play with each other and are using the pee pads! More pictures tomorrow.
Two Week Puppy Update

Winnie is a wonderful attentive mom and the puppies are steadily gaining weight. Their eyes are open now and they are starting to try out their legs.
Since the puppies were born on Earth Day my daughter named them after the Elements.

welcomed 6 puppies into the world on Earth Day April 22, 2019. Four boys and 2 girls ranging in weights of 160 to 190 grams!

I haven't been a very good blogger the puppies have kept me running in all directions. Five out of the six have left to their wonderfu new families the last will be leaving soon. Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.
Six - Seven week update

It has been a very busy two weeks. The puppies are eating puppy food now and have turned into little pooping machines! We have started the process of outside house training. It is quite the challenge to get all six puppies outside after eating before anyone has to poo!
They love to play outside, our older puppies Heidi and Vimy love to play with them too!
